Erzsébetváros – Elizabethtown – is the most exciting corner of the city and is located in Pest, the eastern half of Budapest. Something new appears here almost every day. The quarter is home to many ‘ruin pubs’: old derelict department stores, housing and office blocks which have now been filled with restaurants, bars, shops and clubs. The area is also marked by shopping boulevards, theatres, museums, universities and embassies.
The Akac Liget Apartment House has a bright, modern design and offers layouts of varying shapes and sizes over eight floors. The building is very close to the underground and tram lines. It is possible to reach the other side of the Danube in just 10 minutes, without have to face the stop-and-go traffic of the city centre.
